PandoraJam 2.0 Update

Update: Please upgrade to 2.1 to resolve most of the issues. Launch PandoraJam and select the menu item PandoraJam –> Check for updates.  This will then start the upgrade process. The next time you launch PandoraJam you can check the version number by selecting the menu item PandoraJam –> About PandoraJam

PandoraJam is broken as of Fri Sep 28 due to recent changes on the Pandora music website (outside of our control).  Thanks for your tweets and emails.  We’ve been investigating and are working on some fixes.  We hope to be able to start rolling out some updates to restore functionality (where possible) in the very near future.  Thanks for your patience.

Thank you for updating PandoraJam so quickly. It’s a great app that I would have missed if I couldn’t have used for a long period!

  4. Jim Scrotus says:

Thanks for fixing her. The mouse wins for now.

I LOVE my Pandorajam. So much that when it stopped working correctly, I figured my easiest option was to simply purchase it again. $15, no big deal. I purchased it again, but it still did not work. Looking closer, I see it supports OS 10.5 -10.7. Unfortunately I was not aware that it did not support 10.8.2 and I had recently updated to that operating system to use the “icloud” feature. Please tell me that a newer version is in the works or a way I can get my Pandorajam back. I miss it! Thanks

Yes, I too updated my iMac to OSX 10.8.2 Mountain Lion and updated Pandorajam to v2.1 (build 649, the latest) and Pandorajam is not working.. Hopefully this will be remedied soon. I love Pandorajam!

  8. David Coffin says:

Oh NO!! New to Mt Lion, but not to PandoraJam; horrified to learn that I now can’t use it!! PLEASE fix; we love you!!

  9. Loyd says:

    Hardware:
MacBook Pro (Mac OS X 10.6.8, Snow Leopard)

    Software:
    iTunes 11.0.3.(42)
    GoogleChrome Version 27.0.1453.116
    PandoraOne 2.0.8
    PandoraJam 2.1 (build 649) BETA

PROBLEMS: PandoraJam 2.1 (build 649) BETA misbehaved from the beginning and is now nonfunctional.

    (1) Initially this error message appeared frequently during listening sessions.

“We’ve encountered an error. Sorry, it’s our fault. Please click ‘reload’ to continue listening.”

Only, ‘reload’ did not restore operation, nor did closing and reopening the application restore operation. The application had to be ‘quit’ from the Dock (MacBook Pro) and reopened, which generally restored operation.

    (2) PandoraOne is operating properly; however, PandoraJam is now completely nonfunctional (i.e. will not record). This is the error message that is displayed upon launching the application:

“It is taking longer than expected to fetch the next song to play. The music should be playing soon. If you get tired of waiting, you can try reloading your browser.”

I performed all of the troubleshooting recommendations per the PandoraJam 2.1 (build 649) BETA, PANDORA, Help Page… to no avail.

PandoraJam Support is unresponsive to multiple requests for assistance.

Does anyone have insight into the problem and remedy?
